David Pierson
David Pierson is a partner in Foley Hoag’s Business Department and chairs the firm’s Venture Capital/Emerging Companies Practice Group. David represents U.S. and foreign venture capital firms in connection with their investments in companies in the information technology, life science and other industries throughout the U.S. He also acts as outside general counsel to a variety of technology companies in various stages of development. His work includes advising public and private companies in corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and contract matters, including technology licensing and distribution arrangements.
